Getting to Know Frommer

Losing yourself wandering around a fascinating new neighborhood is part of the joy of traveling. While that's certainly possible on a metaphorical level in Vancouver, getting physically lost is truly difficult -- all you have to do to find your bearings is look up. The mountains are always in sight, and they're always north. If you're facing them, east is to your right, west is to your left, and the back of your head is pointing south. That one tip should keep you pointed in the right direction no matter where your exploration of the city takes you. The rest of this section offers more detailed information on how to find your way around town.
